The Office of Undergraduate Research is proud to announce the recipients of the Outstanding Presentation Awards and Honorable Mentions from the 2026 Undergraduate Research Symposium.
Held as part of Undergraduate Research Week, this year’s Symposium brought together more than 1,400 undergraduate students from across the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign to showcase their research, scholarship, and creative inquiry through poster presentations, oral presentations, performances, and exhibits.
The Office of Undergraduate Research congratulates all award recipients and thanks every student presenter, faculty mentor, judge, staff member, and attendee who contributed to the success of this year’s event. The quality and breadth of undergraduate research on display continue to reflect the innovation, curiosity, and dedication of Illinois students.
