Interested in gaining hands-on research experience at one of the world’s leading medical centers? Undergraduates at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from all majors are invited to learn about three Summer 2027 research programs at Mayo Clinic:
- Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) | Biomedical Research
- Health Equity Research Experience (HERE) | Health Equity Research
- Clinical Research Internship Study Program (CRISP) | Clinical Research
For 10 weeks, selected students become part of a Mayo Clinic research team, contribute to an active project, and see how research informs medicine and patient care while exploring their own academic and career interests.
Join the Mayo Clinic & Illinois Alliance and Interdisciplinary Health Sciences Institute for an information session on Thursday, Oct. 1, at 6 p.m. via Zoom to learn about each program’s eligibility requirements, application and selection process, and the experience of living and conducting research at Mayo Clinic. Previous participants will discuss their experiences and answer questions.
Participation in the live information session is recommended. Students who are unable to attend should register to receive a link to the recording.
